Colombian Oil Production Rose In February Colombian oil production reached 562,000 barrels per day in February 2008, an 8.9 percent increase over the same month last year, Spain's EFE news agency reported. The increase in production was due to the intense exploration activity over the last few months and the start of new small and medium-sized oil wells, the National Hydrocarbons Agency announced Friday.
